Hemoglobin Levels of Sickle Cell Crisis Clients is on the NCLEX:
Normal hemoglobin levels for patients with sickle cell disease are around 8 g/dL. Doctors will try to keep the hemoglobin level no higher than 10 g/dL after transfusion.
Normal levels: * Women: 12.1 to 15.1 gm/dl * Men: 13.8 to 17.2 gm/dl * Children: 11 to 16 g/dl * Pregnant women: 11 to 12 g/dl * Sickle Cell Crisis Patients: 8 to 1o g/dl
